so my car is a Toyota Corolla 1.3 2E Bigbody. Ex-Taxi

Gusto ko sana irestore yung kahit hindi na yung dati but just a little bit of power of this car mga sir.

Hirap na sya sa 100 km/h pero umaabot nman nung ginawang ko premium.. nung unleaded kasi pa 90 lang sya..
may nabasa ako sa forum na yung 1.3 nya is tumatakbo ng 130 km/h kahit ganun or mas higit pang power ok na sken yun..
not asking for mga 200kph, umayos lang.. Yung mpaiyak ko lang gulong ok narin yun. hhe gaya nung Lancer namin. ito kasi wala na tlga ka pwersa pwersa

Ayaw ko ibenta to because first car to ng parents ko..

Ano ba irrecomend nyo na Tuner shop para maibalik nila power ng ssakyan na ito..

Budget 70 to 80k di kasama yung looks, purong performance lang... kaya na po ba?
pero parang yung 30k is sa overhaul lang mauubos..

Also saang Shop?

Bicol Area ako. pero willing ako ipadala ito sa Manila dpende siguro sa ma ssuggest dito.

para sa engine, recommend ko 4EFE (1.3L efi) or 5EFE (1.5L efi), bolt-on siya, kahit stock transmission mo pwede gamitin. (40k to 60K bentahan nito ngayon)

kung gusto mo performance engine, 4EFTE (1.3L turbo efi), mas mabilis kesa sa blacktop sa same chassis, kaso mas mahal (90k up), pwede din gamitin stock transmission mo.

sa shop, SB salon (cavite) at Autotech (manila), ang mga alam kong ok na shop regarding toyotas.

I hate to say this but I guess it is much better to sell that old Corolla and buy another used car which is a much better car overall. If you want some sort of speed or you want some spirited driving on a stable platform, you can get a used 6th gen Accord MT (F20 engine). A used 6th gen Accord nowadays will just be over 100k. The 6th gen Accord has dual wishbone front suspension, ABS, and airbags. Give it 17" rims and you got yourself a decent driver.

I've raced against a 4EFTE-equipped Corolla on the track. Mas mabilis pa yung 4AFE na nakarera ko rin.

The 4EFTE suffers from turbo lag like all small-engined turbos of that era. It is also prone to heat soak so you can't really push 100% for sustained periods.

If you want a stellar engine for an E100 body, go straight for a Silvertop or Blacktop. Otherwise, the 4AFE is a really good balance of economy, durability, and performance.
