try mo shell unleaded. as much as possible, try to use the lowest octane fuel muna.

ako kasi, i've tried total unleaded and petron unleaded, parang kapos-kapos din. i'm using shell unleaded now.

kailangan lang ng high octane gasoline kung high compression ang engine mo (tulad nung sa cr-v & rav4).

check mo na lang yung nasa manual mo.

Pag walang engine knock or tope, stick to the lowest RON rating.

That is because newer engines WILL compensate for the lower octane rating by adjusting / retarding the ignition timing. The downside is that it will lead to poor engine performance & fuel economy.
