My turbodiesel seems to prefer semi-synthetics at least. I could feel and hear smoother engine operation with Caltex Delo Sports (semi) compared to Shell Rimula/Rotella (dino).

The car, strangely, feels a bit slower, and slower revving. Does this make sense? Bat naging parang mas mabagal and parang mas malakas pa sa gas nung nagpatune up ako.

this is the castrol i got.

Sir, you need not use a thicker oil (20w-50)especially if you're more than 50% city driving. Thicker oil grabs power. If you can find a thinner oil (5w-30), go for it and you will feel the difference.
