for a Civic FD, since it is still a relatively new car kahit papaano, hindi pa siguro kailangan ng valve tappet adjusments diyan.
try fueling up * Seaoil with their Extreme 97. pansin ko rin pala, parang madumi ang fuel ng Petron dito sa atin, used their XCS pero ang hina ng hatak ng auto ko, tried Seaoil's Extreme 97 (kaunti nalang ang natitirang XCS nung nagpa-gas ako), ramdam ko kaagad yung gumaan yung andar ng auto ko.

Iyong tope ng makina .Gamit ka ng mas mataas na octane may mga sasakyan na pag mababa octane may tope talaga . Pa check mo rin kung tama ang engine timing ayon sa specification ng makina.

ano nga ba makina mo brad?
as per my info, hindi na kailangan iadjust ang mga automatic lash adjuster.
just run them for 30 mins with 5 sec cycling to about 3k rpm to bleed the air out of the engine oil.
but if the mechanical valve mechanism, you may diy given the required tools. madali lang yun kung tutuusin.
the "tok" sound if it sounds only once every acceleration, better check your driveline. or engine mounts.
but if "tok" sound all throughout, check valve train system.
sana nakatulong. and i'm a little bit of outdated pagdating sa mga new engines. been tinkering all the time with old school engines esp diesels
