i already have that manual months ago and i'm clarifying the contents thus my questions.

what it is trying to tell you is:
tighten in two or three stages or passes, e.g.: 50 nM in sequence, then 75 nM in sequence, then 118 nM in sequence + 90 degrees in sequence +90 degrees in sequence
