If aftermarket, the alarm and remote auto-lock is probably the same module. Fuse, maybe? Loose ground point?
The tailight problem could be something else.... If the whole assembly on that side is not lighting up or lights up in an unusual manner, it could just be a grounding point issue.
It's far-fethed but if the tailight and alarm module are using the same faulty ground point, that could potentially be the root cause.

Properly identify make, model, year and option. State the symptom,frequency of occurrence, weather, road conditions, time of day, abnormal smells, vibration and noise. The more detailed, the easier to get help specially when the subject is not in sight.
