December 5th, 2010 12:27 AM #1Hi tsikoteers,
Can you guys recommend a really good electrical shop within Las Pinas/Paranaque area? I'm planning to get the ff. things checked/done
- alternator - seems to be having troubles charging the battery
- rewiring - lots of dangling wires under the hood which are not connected to anything. There are also some speakers and power windows motors that I believe are intact but electrically disconnected
THanks in advance!

November 19th, 2011 10:42 PM #8Hello Tsikoteers,
Anyone know a good auto electrical shop or mechanic here in binondo or Tondo area?
The voltage of my battery fluctuates widely from 11+ to sometimes reaching 16V. My car is a 2000 Nissan Sentra Exalta.
Recently, I was stalled by battery drainage but I thought this was fixed by changing a loose plug that is attached to 1 of the terminals of the battery (2SMF less that 1 year old). Tonight I am beginning to have problems again. Comments please from knowledgeable tsikoteers!

July 3rd, 2017 02:16 PM #9Update. Made my first visit to Tonguia Electrical Shop: Tonguia's Electrical Shop & General Merchandise - Home | Facebook
So far, OK naman. They fixed my battery discharge problem. Turned out that my alternator belt was starting to wear off. The electrician just tightened the belt a little and advised me to change it soon. (I was in a hurry. I could have had them change it right then). The electrician also asked me to have my car alarm checked as the its problem could also be causing the battery to drain fast (you have to be very close to the car to enable/disable the alarm). I asked him to check it himself but he was honest enough to tell me he was not a car alarm expert. Some dishonest electrician or mechanic would have made up some other problems in my car and pretended to fix my car alarm to up sell me. Hopefully, they will continue to be honest in my next visits. I plan to have them install my new fog lamp switch and bulb next week.
