i've just asked that item at El-Dorado sa Pedro Gil and they quoted me 1900 for a set.

I'm sure meron pang makukunan na mas mababa, maybe sa ATCO sa Pasay or sa Shaw Merchandise (not sure of the name) yung sa tapat ng JRU sa may Kalentong, try mo din sila.

not sure if makakabili ka pc by pc. siguro you can go to the surplus engine stores in banawe and ask if meron sila mabebenta sayo na 1 pc. if not, then best to get the set na talaga.

fuel economy will suffer if the wires are not performing up to spec, as well as the possibility na malulunod yung isang cylinder mo where the wires are not firing correctly.

As far as I know, you have to buy the high tension wire as a set, and not on an individual wire basis.

jevy, the main reason walang nagbebenta ng ht wires for your car is because konte lang nagmomodify nyan. hehe! i wouldn't want to have converted sockets for my car. baka magkaproblems ka pa nyan in the future kapag lumuwag or something. stick to stock nalang. no diff naman kung magpalit ka eh

From experience, the best is to use OEM wires if your car is basically stock or not heavily modded... If you're changing one, its best to change all since they also deteriorate over age if i may add.

Bandido, usually companies like NGK manufacture stock or OEM wires.

jevy, sounds like sales talk to me. try mo nalang kung ok yung performance kapag kinabit mo. kung ok then sulit nabili mo. if not then na-sales talk ka siguro nya.

main difference is the diameter of the inner conductive core and sometimes iba rin yung material na ginagamit nila (copper because this is a good conductor of electricity).

With regard to aftermarket plugs and HT wires, dyno tests have shown that they dont improve HP/toque whatsoever AFAIK.

depende sa heat range ng kinuha mo. if you got the ik22 or ik24 then i think madali sya masisira. kung ik20 lang then baka ok lang sya for your car.
