Guys,

I need help. I have a 2002 Isuzu Bighorn and it seems na lagi nadidiskarga battery nya. There was this one time na nangamoy sunog then bigla namatay then di ko na siya maistart. Then nung nicharge ung sasakyan, nagistart then nadiskarga na ulit.

I am thinking it could be the alternator. Would you know a test i can perform to confirm? About the amoy sunog thing? Could it be a hint kung ano talaga may prob?

By the way meron rin akong aftermarket alarm na installed. FYI

may short ang wirings mo most probably yung naamoy mong nasusunog, since walang pumuputok na fuse ay malamang nasa fusible links yan. you need a parasitic draw test. (search mo na lang how, madali lang yan or dalhin mo na lang sa auto-electrical shop yan car mo).

if your car's electrical system has not been tampered with and the wirings are proper, the short would cause a fuse to blow. the only circuit not passing thru a fuse would be your terminal 30 from the battery positive to the 30 of the starter solenoid or starter relay. in your case, i would check the circuits that are not fused yet. if this symptom were water intrusion induced, check the fuse panel around the kick panel.

Mas mainam niyan madala mo na lang kaagad sa electrical shop para makita agad kung may wiring na grounded para iwas sa sunog rin kagaya ng pinalabas sa tV. news na alam na diperensiya wiring pati siya kasama na nasunog . Paalala lang.
