September 17th, 2022 04:21 PM #22Had that setup before with a Lithium-Ion powerbank. Removed it din coz scared that the powerbank might catch fire while the car is unattended. Might try again with a LiFePO4 bank eventually.
Most dashcams take power from USB so no problems naman even without 12V out. Would be nice to have 12V IN though, so the powerbank can charge faster and not need another cigarette lighter to USB adapter.

I have the old tronsmart powerbank.. nice fast charging.. can fully charge my s21 2x
Also get a nice usb to usb c cable.. or a c to c cable.. yung nasa 3.1A rating

It is repairable. But as oj88 mentioned, it is messy (when repaired) and best used as a last resort.
