in my experience, the biggest hurdle in buying a new battery, is the unwillingness (not in-ability!) to pay for it. and it comes in various guises... like time management problems, (in)expert advise, "uma-andar pa naman, konting himas lang" syndrome, etc.
if you guys offer to honestly defray the cost of buying a new battery for her, baka mabilis pa sa alas cuatro...
heh heh.

kahit di siya lumabas late parin matulog yan

so sigurado late magigising yan

tapos maliligo pa, mag aayos..... that's like 2 hours at least

so past 12 na aalis ng bahay yan (kung matutuloy)

syempre gusto mo altis ang gagamitin sa mga lakad

so umaga/tanghali dala mo corolla sa shop, tanghali/hapon ka na matapos. uuwi ka para mag palit ng sasakyan

o nga pala amoy pawis ka na so maliligo ka uli, mag aayos...

so early evening na...

Ma tsek lang kung ok ang alternator/ charging system end of story na. Gawa na lang ng another thread for the aircon.

Hopefully the shop have the right tools to diagnose charging system.
Baka idikit lang ng mekaniko yung screwdriver sa alternator then kung dumikit declare na OK pa ang charging..lol

dati sabi ni cathy naka-ilaw ang battery indicator sa dash so i said it's the alternator

but when she put the altis battery in the corolla hindi na daw naka-ilaw ang batt indicator so i think wala naman problema ang alternator

For peace of mind, best way pa rin ipa-check/inspect since nabanggit nya umilaw "bat" kahit umaandar makina.. Could be intermittent rectifier not giving enough current, worn brush, sliding overriding clutch pulley, or simply loose/corroded connections. If the problem recur, may part 2 pa tong thread na to. lol

So far eto ang progress nya doing elimination method of troubleshooting (took her almost a month dahil sa hectic schedule nya)

Battery - ruled out, found faulty, done replacement
Alternator/ charging system - pending
