November 2nd, 2013 10:45 PM #11True. The carbon brushes were all worn out. We also replaced the solenoid.

November 3rd, 2013 01:43 AM #12Check your battery. Its 3 years old and most likely has failed. If you have a multimeter, check the voltage if its below 12 volts, it might not have enough juice to start your car.
Had the same problem before. Lights, horn and other electrical items work but the car wont crank. As in no cranking noise at all. Tried to jump start and still no response. Replaced the battery and it solved it
