October 29th, 2013 08:09 PM #1My car is a Toyota Corolla Big Body '95 XE.. Namamatayan po ako sa kalagitnaan ng pagddrive ko.. Napaka-unusual dahil minsan, pag namamatay, wala lahat ng ilaw sa gauge nya.. minsan naman, namamatay pero may ilaw pa lahat.. ang problema, minsan hindi ko mapa-start, kaylangan pa magantay ng ilang minutes (aprox. 3-5 mins.) bago sya mapa-start ulit.. at minsan naman napapastart kaagad.. Please help naman po kung anong problema nito. Electricals? Alternator? or may iba pa bang dapat patignan?

October 29th, 2013 08:35 PM #2Linisan mo ung battery terminal, kung isa lang ang grounding mo (battery to body) try mo dagdagan, ung mga relays baklas linis terminal tapos balik (pa-isa isa lang para nde maghalo halo).

October 29th, 2013 10:47 PM #4Kung namamatay after driving for some time, check the ignition coil. Usually walang problema pag dinala mo sa talyer coz malamig pa. Ganyan problema sa corolla 91 ko dati. Next time mamatay ang makina check mo kung mainit ang ignition coil.

Eto ang lumabas sa gauge ko nung nagkaalternator problem ako. Battery and fuel filter ang nakasindi.

san banda yung ignition coil? ganito din problema ng small body ko bigla na lang namamatay minsan kahit di pa ko nakakalayo namamatay na agad makina pero madali naman mag start uli, sorry ts sa pag hijack ng thread mo, tia!

October 30th, 2013 02:06 PM #7Pwede ma isolate kung overheated na ignition coil ang problem. Patayin makina at basain ng konti tubig yun basahan. Ibalot basahan sa casing ng ignition coil. iwasan mabasa ang 2 terminal for 2 minutes o mahigit. Absorb ng basahan yun init ng ignition coil para lumamig. Basta medyo lumamig na ignition coil ay start mo uli. Kapag mas matagal bago mag tumigil uli ang engine ay pasirang ignition coil nga ang dapat palitan ng bago.

It is repairable. But as oj88 mentioned, it is messy (when repaired) and best used as a last resort.
Liquid tire sealant
