November 3rd, 2002 09:47 AM #1if i change ba my spark plugs does it follow that i have to change the wires too? how do i know if i need to change it na?
are they standard or specific fit per vehicle? i'd appreciate your recommendations

November 3rd, 2002 11:49 AM #2it depends if you need to change your hi-tension wires. if your wires are already brittle and cracked, change them... also if some electrcity jumps out of the wires (sa gabi mo tignan, buksan mo hood, paandarin mo makina, pag may nakita kang kuryente na tumatalon galing sa wires, sira na yun) change them.
if you're planning to change them, go for the OEM. Mine is NGK (the blue one). im not sure with the sizes though, just bring your sample when you buy one.

The stock plug wires will do an OK job. Just make sure they're in good condition. Change them as well probably if your ride is around over 5 years old or so. I do think the stock, properly gapped, plugs will work well with the stock wires.

November 5th, 2002 11:16 PM #5if my memory serves me right we had a 93 corolla gli a/t back then and when we used the high performance wires madaling nasisira yun spark plug na normal gusto nya yung mga platinum ba yun?..basta yung mahal..kaya binalik namin sa stock..i think masyadong malakas yung kuryente or something...
