help on spark plug wires

if i change ba my spark plugs does it follow that i have to change the wires too? how do i know if i need to change it na?

are they standard or specific fit per vehicle? i'd appreciate your recommendations

it depends if you need to change your hi-tension wires. if your wires are already brittle and cracked, change them... also if some electrcity jumps out of the wires (sa gabi mo tignan, buksan mo hood, paandarin mo makina, pag may nakita kang kuryente na tumatalon galing sa wires, sira na yun) change them.

if you're planning to change them, go for the OEM. Mine is NGK (the blue one). im not sure with the sizes though, just bring your sample when you buy one.

how do performance hi tension wires help, if ill stay with my oem ngk plugs?

The stock plug wires will do an OK job. Just make sure they're in good condition. Change them as well probably if your ride is around over 5 years old or so. I do think the stock, properly gapped, plugs will work well with the stock wires.

if my memory serves me right we had a 93 corolla gli a/t back then and when we used the high performance wires madaling nasisira yun spark plug na normal gusto nya yung mga platinum ba yun?..basta yung mahal..kaya binalik namin sa stock..i think masyadong malakas yung kuryente or something...

Mga sir plano ko magpalit ng spark plug wires. Ngk o seiwa sana ung ipalit ko. Compatible ba siya sa 2000 civic mt? May magiging problema kaya gaya nung sabi sa taas?. Thanks

i don't know.
but if one is unsure, one may source them from the casa. they're not too expensive naman.
i vaguely remember that my non-honda casa's sparking plugs aren't priced too far from banawe's.

Doc last time nagpunta ko sa casa ayaw ako pagbilan ng sparkplug kung hindi sa kanila ipapakabit. After ng konting usapan ayaw talaga pumayag, umalis na lang ako. Un na ung huling punta ko sa casa dito sa santa rosa. Kung meron naman sa iba ayaw ko na sana bumalik don.

Santa rosa laguna sir. Matagal na kong nabili sa kanila, kaya lang nung huling punta ko ayaw na magbenta kung hindi sila magkakabit, sabi ko bakit dati pwede naman, nagbago na daw sila ng management. May tinawagan pa nga sa phone e.

Its a precaution to avoid treatment with counterfeit drugs daw.

Pero ngayon ko lang narinig yan na Hinde sila pwede magbenta ng spark plug pag hinde sila ang mag install it's like saying alisin na rin nila yun parts department nila since hinde sila pwede magbenta ng parts kung hinde sila ang mag install.

should be fine if it's original.. and if it fits your vehicle. there are many dfferent ngk ignition cables.
