    Hi.

    Just remembered when buying fuses na yung nagkalat sa mga auto supply ay mga china made fuses. Those that have plastic na kita mo yung bakal sa loob.

    Try to search for non-China fuses na yung plastic ay di mo kita yung bakal sa loob.

    By comparison, the 10amp fuse of these two makes do not have the same thickness ang bakal. So I suspect, the china-made fuse tinipid ang bakal. Hehehe.

    My non-China 10A fuse has thicker metal than the China-made 20A fuse.

    Re headlight wattage, ang taas kung 155watts. Ok lang if 100 watts. According to OSRAM dealer, they discourage going about 110 watts. Dahil sa init ng bulb, pag naulanan, prone na mabasag ang bulb due to hot-cold environment.

    HTH.

    FYI mga paps,
    to determine current drawn by any electrical load, follow this formula: Power (P in watts) = Current (I in amperes) x Voltage (V in volts)

    given the specs above as our example:

    Before: 55W, 12V system
    P = IV
    55 = 12I
    I = 4.6 Amperes, thus a 10A fuse will do.

    After: 155W, 12 V system
    (same formula)
    I = 12.92 Amperes, thus the 10A fuse will blow.

    Fuses should be loaded approx 80% of its rated ampacity.
    Example: Load = 100 A
    Fuse rating = 80 A

    My suggestion is go back to your stock specifications...for mods, upgrade your system plus the wires should also be replaced to a higher gauge if the stock wire will not also hold the electrical load.

    Could be a busted low beam filament on the H4 bulb. You can try to go to any auto shop and have them change that bulb. If wala pa din, let them trace the problem.

    What kind of upgrade? You don't need to upgrade naman. What you need to do is just change the defective bulb or wiring.

    Hi Guys,

    My ride is a honda city 2006 idsi. Kagabi napansin ko na walang ilaw yung left headlamp. I tried using high beam, umilaw naman parehong headlamp. Sa low beam lang ayaw gumana nung left side. Ano kaya ang problema? Thanks in advance.
