    hi guys! n00b here!! eheh..
tanong ko lang sana opinyon niyo kung worth it pa bang magpalit ako ng headers at piping, as of now kasi naka 421 na yung 4afe ko, kaso nung sinukat ko e 1.5 lang siya, also, short pipes din siya, by the way mandrell bent ata siya kasi alang kulubot sa bends.. balak ko sanang palagyan ng 1.75 long pipes then 2 na pipe after nung headers. as for the muffler naka free flow na po siya. nagdedebate kasi yung ulo ko kung exhaust ba or bilan ko nalang ng splitfire wires e.
    TIA!!

where did you get your headers?

make sure that they are indeed mandrel bent headers. kasi pwede na walang kulubot sa bends, pero sa inner side ng pipes, baka di pantay ang diameter ng pipes.

i'd go for the upgraded headers. mas ramdam mo ang improvement sa performance vs. the high-tension wires. lalakas nga lang consumo mo ehehehe

how abot your intake? have you upgraded it? for me, i will maximize the intake-headers-exhaust route before looking at the wires.

tama si andy upgrade mo muna yung intake mo.

yung pipes mo pa 2" mo na lang muna then pag nabitin ka pa rin palitan mo na lang yung headers mismo.

last mo na yung high tension wires

i would do software, a throttle body, or an intake before putting high-tension wires.

in my humble opinion, these wires are close to worthless.

IHE first. HT wires and body kits last. IMHO.

OT: na alala ko tuloy ang HT wires on a diesel. hehe

Ako rin Id go for the headers mas ramdam mo may increase ang h.p.Ok lang naman din if you want to choose hi-tension wires gaganda lang ang daloy ng kuryente which cost at about 3,500 ang splitfire twincore...Mag palagay ka na rin ng intake K&N ang ilagay mo..

L1quid San ka nga pala nagsetsetup?Sa paranque ba?Kase may kaklase ako yung pinsan niya may shop sa bf homes paranque yung Powershot Car Accessories..:D

Di ba parang baliktad? Dapat from exhaust-headers then intake ang modifications...

Parang useless yung intake mods kung sakal din palabas yung extra effort to make it more faster.

ongapala, sorry nakalimutan kong imention na i already got one of those short ram intake systems.

4-1 headers --> for high rev engine(honda for example) and also used in drag race.

high tension wires walang gain dyan pero better spark pero kung stock pa internals and kung i/h/e palng set-up mo po hwag ka muna kuha ng high tension wire saka na sayang lang ang pera.

kung balak mo naman ang drag race then i strongly suggests engine swap. may blacktop, silvertop or even 3sgte d b.hehe

for down pipe the best yung 2.25 inch and dont go beyond.

also, intake mod din para proper air circulation.

kung anu po feel nyo na uunahin un po ang gawin nyo. in my case naman po. go for air filter muna then headers then muffer then down pipe.un buo na yung i/h/e mo.

inuna ko yung mga sa loob na makina kasi ayaw kong magmukhang riceboy sa daan lalo na kung inuna mo yung muffer and stock ka din pla. looks like riceboy di ba kasi yung tunog.heheh peace

Depende, if branded ka lahat big bucks,
    ex.
    K & N Typhoon CAI $ 450
    DC Header $ 450
    DC Exhaust $ 650

but if you go Fremuff or Mufflerland, header, downpipe, exhaust is within 10 K.

Check my modifications and listen to my full exhaust system to get an idea. Also use quicktime player, cos i think their a lil more accurate to listen to.

    http://www.cardomain.com/id/pinoy_og_beware
    http://www.angelfire.com/musicals/jporms/MOV00772.MPG

If you want deeper than that go for a custom 2.5 full system consists of:
    - H22a engine (prelude's engine)
    - 2.5" piping, header-back
    - 2.5" mandrel bends
    - 2.5" baffled resonator
    - 2.5" non-baffled resonator
    - 2.5" straight through Magnaflow muffer
    - Ractive black chrome oval tip
    - No cat-converter
and it should sound like this http://members.shaw.ca/d.maczko/90AccordExhaust.mpg

Note: Sound will also depend on your engine.

Personally i like mine better cos of the meaner sound to it, Very Deep sound to me feels like it doesnt have that fast pace feeling of it *yawnnnnn* Pero it all depends naman on your taste, so do what floats your boat.
