    Glad you found the problem, but still observe for recurrence. Springs may not be holding well because of age.

    I ended up soldering a pioneer detachable HU in one of the vans because of intermittent power.

    My 2DIN HU in my pickup uses spring loaded contacts and so far i think its superior than the metal-strip springs common to 1DIN units.
