Dami sa olx. Search mo lang alternator. Here's one...

Meron dun for several corolla models.

Edit: link does not work. Basta go to olx and search "alternator corolla".

    agree. yock's.
rebuild or kaliwaan-trade-in, if he has your model in stock.
nung nagpa-repair ako, hinintay ko lang. 1-2 hours.
brand new corolla alternators are still available. you but have to look at the usual suspects.

when i had my less common non-toyota repaired years ago, i paid 2.5K. they replaced the electronics and the brushes. prices probably vary, depending on what they have to do or replace.
perusing olx nowadays, i see what i believe are brand new units (oem or replacement?), advertised for 6.5K.

Those P6.5K are just replacements sir. Mga 2-3 years masuwerte na din tumagal. The OEM costs P10k UPWARDS afaik.

in that case, i suggest to TS to just have his oem alternator repaired.
kung 2-3 years lang ang buhay ng replacement na brand new, i can only imagine the buhay ng repaired replacement alternator.
tanung nyo si yock's, kung meron silang surplus oem units and parts...
    meron naman silang warranty.
    heh heh.

Yes, if OEM can be repaired like if it's just the bearing or bushings that must be replaced, then that would be better than getting a replacement.

Some shops that are really good can even wind the copper wire back to almost OEM specs level. Baka ganyan kaya rin ni yock's. That would be great as well. Cheaper pa than a replacement part.
