^^ pag natutuyuan ng water ang battery baka overcharge condition lagi. pa-check mo yung charging system.

some batteries (the so-called maintenance-free) do need little or no maintenance. dagdag battery water lang, maybe once only during its lifetime..
other batteries do require more visible maintenance.

but if the battery requires more frequent addition of battery water, it may be an indication of overcharging.. have your car checked.

and when those batteries die, they die so fast, you would not believe it.. as in.. nag-start this morning.. patay makina lunchtime for lunch.. two hours later, hindi na mag-start.
sometimes, push-starting the car would start the car. sometimes, it does not anymore..

and the age of the battery does not always coincide with the car's age. that car may have already had the battery installed in korea several weeks before it was shipped to you.

look at the battery (not car!) warranty, if you are entitled to a free new battery..

First, no text speak sa forum.

Back to topic. For conventional and low maintenance batteries, need to check periodically and add water. Sa next battery mo, I suggest getting maintenance-free battery para wala ka na need i-check. Yung gamit namin now is Motolite Enduro, 2 yrs and 4 months na siya now in our Revo. Malakas pa rin, 1-click start agad.

Same lang ba buhay ng maintenance free at low maintenance. Sa montero kasi namin kailangan pa dagdagan ng tubig. Twice na nadagdagan. Ok na ok pa ngayon. Going 3 years na. Yung ibang maintenance free mga lagpas konti lang ng 2 years then palit na. Ganun ba talaga? Mas mahaba buhay nung low maintenance na kailangan pa dagdagan ng tubig?

common conditions that will decrease the battery lifespan

    -temperature
    -vibration
    -over charging
    -undercharging
    -deep cycle discharging
    -drying/lacking of battery solution inside
    -corrosion on terminals

    -factory problem/ defects in production
-quality of materials used/ process involved
    -amount of time stored

diesel engines are more hard on the batteries as compared to gasoline counter parts...
same batteries of same model with same working environment may have different lifespans....
