Just remove the negative (black color) terminal of the batt. Your batt would be fine.

Wag ka magworry sa baterya, sir. Mas magworry ka sa engine mo. 4 months without circulating oil is bad for the first start.

    - please correct me mga s8r if i am wrong. Kung hindi kasi gunagamit vios ko at least i ensure to have it started every at least 3 days for 5 minutes

Same as mine. 3-4 days iniwan, hard starting na. Pinalitan namin amaron. Cheaper than motolite. 21 months warranty

Ganda reviews ng Amaron sir, made in India kaya very compatible sa tropical country natin.

More than four years na bale. Before the year ends papalitan ko na eto at mahirap matirikan, A/T pa naman ako.

TS, usually 2 to 3 year or ever more if the alternator is effectively charging the batt . keep in mind to switch off the A/C, stereo, headlights etc.. every time the engine restart

My Motolite Gold 3SM is almost dead *5years 5mos... Kaya ma-start ang engine at first cold cranking, then second mahina na... 3rd, hindi na kaya. I tried adding water and charged it overnight, pero wala na talaga.

I just had it replaced with an Amaron Hi-Life 2SM...

Vehicle by the way is a Tamaraw FX (gasoline engine).

there are two ways heat will decrease battery life.
    1. it speeds up the corrosion of the positive grid of the battery (growth-creep)

    2. it increases the sulfide plating on the negative side of the battery (corrosion-creep)

local brands who use recycled lead (Pb), have trouble separating Silver from the lead. most recently manufactured batteries use silver on the grid and post.
50 PPM... even after recycling and re-processing silver impurities will still be present and will result to uneven quality of lead plates.

the latest innovation in conventional lead-acid battery is the use of a special alloy (C-21), with addition of Ba ( BARIUM )... this combination slows the 2 processes mentioned above, increasing battery life dramatically....

ang nakaimbento at gumagawa nyan ay Furukawa battery of japan, which made a joint venture sa number 1 competitor ng amaron sa india, which is EXIDE batteries of U.S.

the incorporation of the technology of furukawa japan battery to the EXIDE line of batteries resulted into a product that is superior in every aspect,

just out of curiosity i bought one yesterday para masubok...

India's no 1 products under the EXIDE, SF, SONIC and Standard Furukawa Braa nds.

    SF SONIC batteries

para meh options kayo when choosing batteries, apart from amaron which is also good to begin with.
    sir miko101130,

Yung mga Suzuki Ertiga coming from India are fitted with this kind...

ok naman medyo matagal ko na din gamit. ito pinalit ko when my amaron started to fail..

as per spec, its similar sa amaron. dalawa lang naman naglalabanan sa batteries eh, johnston controls at exide batteries.

its more cheaper also comapred to amaron.

the battery market is already competitive compared to what it was before na motolite lang meron dati.

ngayon you can choose amaron/sf sonic/korean(enercell) / thailand na panasonic at hitachi batteries etc...

while the vehicle itself seems brand new, as in brand-unused-zero-km-new, that might not be the case with the battery.
probably, the battery was installed several months earlier, just after the vehicle got out of the factory. then it sat there, un-stimulated, slowly declining..
this may be even truer in imported vehicles..

3SM ba naman tapos gasoline engine. Kaya talaga more than 2 years walang duda.

Although 5 years is damn log indeed.
