Battery and Heater Light Indicator Lighting when Driving

Im having troubles sa electrical ko for sometime. L200 Pickup 94mdl. Madami na ako pinagawa for this last two months. I tried writing the whole story para alam nyo din what I've tried pero upon saving nalobat yung laptop, nabura un 1hr na kwento ko.

The main issue is initially when idle now even driving iilaw sa panel ko yung battery and heater indicator ko, my magcclick sa ilalim ng dash n mag miminor yung engine ko for a sec and babalik nmn sa normal.

Initially it was resolve by fixing my alternator, pero bumalik ng pinaayos ko yung powersteering and ng pina backjob ko yung powersteering, natuluuan kc ng powersteering fluid yung alternator.

Pinalitan na yung stator, bearing and regulator.

Bumalik ako sa mardenrey, ok naman daw alternator ko, tuyo naman daw ying ilalim, mukhang di naman daw natuluaan ng powersteering fluid and malakas naman daw karga (14.5v).

I have it check sa barrera sa quiricada and ang suggestion nila gen rewiring costing P8500.

Nagpunta ko sa reys sa marikina kanina, they suggest to have my alternator check again since my warranty naman also sira daw yung temp sending unit. I replace it kanina pero ganun pa din. Mas madalas na nga kanina yun na lumalabas un on and off ng indicator paguwi ko.

Any suggestions na pwede ko gawin sir o pagdalhan.

Tom, im planning to go back sa. Mardenrey to have my alternator clean and see if ok talaga sya and then balik reys marikina for additional diagnosis. Baka my naka experience na sa inyo nito.

Also nag kabit ako recently ng amp and stereo, nawawala yung sounds kapag naka signal/hazzard/brake.

Do not waste your time and money on rewiring. A real electrician will search for the problem circuit and deal with it without having to do the entire wiring harness. Look for a competent shop of technician not the cheapest one

Agree, keep the connections as stock as possible. Sa rewiring minsan tamad na trabaho yan na hindi maganda result. Electrical fire is not far-fetched to heppen either.

may glow plug control unit iyan kung saan konektado ang glow/heater at charge warning lamps.....yung glow control unit ay nasa left kick panel.

research mo sa google yung diagnostics nyan (voltage and continuity tests). madami din references sa pocuk.com

atsaka saan circuit ba tinap ang sound system nyan? sa lightiing or sa ignition 12V supply?

We have the same ride and problem...sabi ng electrician namin may sira daw sa "module " nung dash- (di ko alam kung anong module na sinasabi niya), yung ginawa niya is nag install nalang ng push button switch for glow plug para direct na at nilagyan niya ng digital voltmeter reader para malaman if ok charging niya

the measurement should include current (amperage) at the battery terminals. measure at the positive cable and again measure at the negative cable closest to the battery. if there is a considerable resistance at any connection, the voltage reading may indicate 14.5 volts but the current was limited by the resistance. if the voltage is as what you insinuated but the current is low going to the battery that is less than 60% SOC (state of charge), there is a high resistance in the charging circuit.

nadaan ako sa baha last week, gutter level. then nag On/Off ung battery warning light ko for a few secs, kasabay nun nawawala ung power steering. nawala ung warning light, bumalik din ung power steering. I would assume ung battery light is more of warning light for alternator issues? nabasa lang ba to kaya parang dumulas siguro yung belt? causing loss of power steering? anytjhing I should do proactively? hindi na to naulit pero first time ngyare. kinabahan ako kasi delikado pag alternator ang alanganin.

i think the belts just slipped as a result of getting wet.
perhaps it is a sign that you should check for belt tightness.

Tingin ko bro.,- nabasa o nalubog ang terminals ng iyong alternator.... Pero, hindi naman namatay ang makina ano?

Happened to me twice,- on our Old Faithful van while crossing a pool of water..... The alternator is placed low in the engine bay, and so madaling mabasa or malubog....
