September 28th, 2013 09:03 PM #12Pa-check mo grounding mo, baka ground lang. Have your battery terminals checked as well.
Nagpagawa ako dati ng alternator somewhere in Molino. Palit brushes lang. Pagkakaalam ko sa smaller repair shop nagrerepair sila ng alternator. Sa bigger shops, usually recommendation nila palit na.

September 28th, 2013 11:37 PM #13that alternator with the additional wire has been with your car for some time now, and hasn't really been giving your trouble, right? then i suppose it's compatible with your car..
there are electromechanical parts in the market, that are designed for more than one car or set-up. hence the "additional" wires.. these wires are connectred or left un-connected, as the case may be... but it does need a knowledgeable auto electrician/mechanic to wire it up...
what does gawang laguna mean? i have no idea..

Check connectors muna pag lahat ok ang connection then alternator na yan. Ipafullcharge mo muna battery mo para maibyahe mo pa sa pagawaan.

October 6th, 2013 06:49 PM #16Ok na po yung car sir. Alternator nga ang culprit, busted na yung rectifier diode and ic regulator. It costs me 2,8k for those 2 parts including the labor. Thanks for the help and inputs.
