ALternator n b b prob?

mga sir,

update lang po ok na po yung ride ko bale yun nga tinanngal yung alt ko tapos binuksan ayun tsek yung mga diode at rectifier me nasunog n part

try pinalitan ng recond n alt ok n sya ,me binanggit yung mech na iniisip ko is yung alt na nkakabit is also not the orig alt (2nd hand lng po kc ride ko e)nasa 75A lng daw , kaya lng dapt daw ipatsek uli yun bakit bigla nasshort yung rectifier.

additional Q po sana, ano ba mga possible cases bkit nashort yung ic/diode sa loob ng alt?

possible po ba yung splashes from flood waters e magcacause ng shortage?

and 1 thing po i noticed after installation of the replacement alt is di kaagad nawala yung pagilaw ng batt dun sa gauge/panel, but after driving maybe 15 mins bigla naman nawala na ano po kaya sa tingin nyo?

Sa lahat ng parte ng alternator ay yong bridge rectifier ang pinakamadaling masira. Yong bridge rectifier ay yan ang nangko-convert to AC na dina-direct current(DC) naman ng alternator para sa sasakyan. Sa katagalan dahil sa masyadong mataas ang demand yong Diodes sa may bridge rectifier ay nanghihina, at hindi gaanong nagpa-function ng maganda na kagaya noong bago pa iyan alternator.

Malalaman mo kung ang yong bridge rectifier ay medyo pasira na, kapag sa umaga malamig ang makina at pinaandar mo at nakikita mong mas maganda ang charging keysa warm na ang makina alam muna na medyo malapit nang palitan. Kapag mainit masyado and diodes at bridge rectifier ay hindi rin maganda hindi maganda ang function.

Sa kataasan ng demand pag mas maraming kuryente ang isu-supply ng alternator dahil sa mga accessories sa kotse (Ex: lights, A/C, stereos at iba pa) na asking more power, the more current na iko-convert ng rectifier sa DC the more chances na mag-failure ang diode.

Kaya kapag itoy sira, most likely ang sasabihin natin ay Alternator na ang problema, which is true. It is not advisable just to change the rectifier or the diodes but the whole alternator na rebuilt or new. Chances are you can encounter one problem to another. So replaced the whole unit.

Medyo drain ang battery mo noon kaya may ilaw parin kahit bago ang alternator pero sabi mo nawala after 15 min. of driving, dahil na-charge na battery mo sa bagong alternator.
