    mga gurus please help naman po....my car is mitsubishi glx 2000 medyo hirap ako sa pag distinguish yung may problema..yung alternator ba o battery? kasi nag test po with tester gamit ko,pag di pa naka start yung battery is nasa 12.6v sa reading ng tester and then pag start ko sya tumataas naman to 14.01-14.1 at idle po ito wlang load normal lang. pag nag load ako ng headlight, hazard,radio,bumababa yung reading sa 13.8V naglalaro pataas po not constant reading without aircon ito, pag may aircon na with headlight, radio,hazard,masbuma baba pa ulit yung reading sa mga 12.6v d po sya constant naglalaro lng...pero pag aircon lang itself na naka ON ok naman reading din mga 13.9-14.01V. yung battery ko po is nag 3 yrs. last MAY,binili sya last may 2007 motolite brand...pag pinag sabay lng aircon, headlight,radio,hazard yun bumababa talaga...

    ala po pala ako set up ng sounds normal lang......alin po kaya sa battery po kaya???? need your info please thankssss!!!!

    if i didn't have an idea, knowledge, training and experience, i would try another battery first. for the following reasons; 1. the battery is cheaper than the alternator, 2. it is easier to replace, 3. you can pretty much borrow and try a good known working battery, 4. as you stated, the battery might be nearing its demise.
    from an educated, trained and experienced viewpoint, the charging voltage is within range of 14.0 to 14.5 volts with the engine running. the battery is not capable of sustaining the load. you can try turning the load you tried earlier, this time without the engine running. if the voltage drop below 11.5 volts, it is time you retire that battery. now, don't second guess

    when my battery died 2 weeks ago, the tech from motolite tested the alternator by measuring the voltage across the battery, at no electrical load and with full electical load (A/C, lights etc) he did this while idle and reving the engine. the voltage did not flactuate at all instances. So he said that the alternator is good. :D

    btw, I had 2 cells of my battery dead. still under warranty. waiting for the repalcement battery. currently using a service battery.

    brow yung battery mo na ang sira dyan, kasi kung alternator na ang sira ng tsikot mo pag binuhay mo yung makina niyan di yan papalo ng 14 volts

    malapit na bumigay batt mo. mahina na reserba nya kaya humihina pag full load

    Good day sure change battery 12 volt 70 ah para malakas pls. check alternator charging system para ayos lahat/

    ok sir thanks for the nice info, btw sir i just observe yesterday when i try to rev a bit the car the voltage goes up this is full load reaching 13.8-14v, isn't my idle is low? cause when idle at full load the engine is rough running not smooth but when i try to rev a bit it goes smooth and the voltage goes up, so i got in mind that maybe the idle is low? what do you think with my observation sir? i need you r info again please thanks

    cguro nga yung battery na sir medyo mahina,pa check ko na lang po yung battery ko......for sure salamat sa info.... pero sir na try ko po kahapon na e rev n kunti yung car tapos yung voltage napansin ko tumataas naman sa 13.8v at full load ito d po kaya medyo mababa lang idle ko? or talagang sa battery?

    need help po mga fellow tsikoters. newbie lang ako pagdating sa kotse baka matulungan nyo ako ma-identify kung ano problem ng kotse ko. napansin ko ang mga sumusunod: bumababa ng hanggang 600 ang rpm ko when idle, lumabo *** ilaw sa dashboard ko pati sa ceiling, pati na din ang headlight. sa mga nabasa ko possible na may problem ang alternator pero nung pinatignan ko sa mekaniko namin ok naman daw ang alternator ko. ano sa tingin nyo problema ng kotse ko. (1998 toyota corolla 1.6 lovelife). sana po matulungan nyo ako. maraming salamat.

    How old na ang battery? Baka more than 2 years na at mahina na sya magdala ng charge, palitan mo na ng bago. Kung kakareplace lang ng battery, ipa-check mo yung alternator fan belt, baka masyado maluwag or mahigpit. Check din yung terminal sa baterya, baka madumi or maluwag.

    * sir CivicVti salamat sa reply. bago palit lang battery ko. may nadidinig nga ako na parang ipit na sound dun sa isang belt na pinalitan (kasabay na pinalitan ang water pump) akala ko dahil bago kaya may sound na ganun. patignan ko na lang din. thanks ulit

    tama si sir civicvti baka luma na battery mo? ilang years na yan?or try mo ito baka mababa lang idle mo kasi kapag bumaba idle at hindi normal yung idle mo syempre aqng cause nun mahina kuryente...try mo rebolusyon ng kunting kunti lng tapos observe mo yung mga mahinang ilaw kamo kung medyo lumakas nung ni rebolusyon mo ng kunti ibig sabihin mababa lng idle mo good luck sana makatulong

Alternator or battery? help....
