    Peeps question nmn, kc ung aircon ko bgla n lng ayw gumana. pg check ko the heater relay sa fuse box under the hodd nasunog. After that pinalitan ko n sya. and my aircon works fine. pero after 2 days gmit ko ung aircon then bglang nmty ayw nnmn gumna. pg check ko ulit sa relay sunog ulit. pero all fuses are ok. ung relay lng. tpos mdyo sunog din ung pingkakabitan ng relay ko. help nmn dyan. nu kya un? short circuit? wiring? grounding? etc.... tnx sa help!

    definitely, it could either be short or grounding.

    please check if your relay socket is loose or your new relay might be under rated, check if same or higher ampere rating.

    After replacing your relay again, run for few minutes and touch it if it gets hot. when hot it is indication that it is over loaded

    Mga sir anu po ibig sabihin ng overloaded? Halos same problem kami, ung sakin sa radiator fan relay. Meron burn marks sa isang pin ng relay nung tinanggal ko. Inistart ko ng 15 minutes, ung ibang relay uminit ng konti, pero ung rad fan relay mainit talaga.

    Tumigil last week ung rad fan ko, pinaayos ko, sabi ng electrician may grounded daw, naayos naman, pinaltan na rin ng bagong relay.
    Inaalala ko lang ngayon ung burn marks sa relay, baka makasira tapos tumigil ung rad fan.

    Sabi ng electrician nakarekta daw rad fan ko ( pag on ng sasakyan bubukas na siya).

    Sa ngayon ok naman ung sasakyan. 2000 civic mt.

    relays have current or wattage capacities.
    overload means, the relay is conducting more electricity than it was designed for. because of this, the relay heats up and can die earlier than usual.

    why is your fan naka-rekta?
    perhaps you should ask the shop to revert your fan to the original factory spec and not naka-rekta.

    Hindi ko alam doc kung bakit nakarekta, tatanung ko na lang sa electrician. Sa mga nabasa ko dapat tumitigil din ang rad fan, tama ba? Kaya umiinit relay ko kasi tuloy tuloy ikot ng fan? Thanks

    Malamang it was a lazy repair wherein the technician did not want to wire the fan to the original system wherein the fan is controlled by the thermostat. Baka nasunog na yung original wire or walang compatible socket. Kaya lang ang lupit naman kung naka rekta at palaging umaandar. Di man lang kinabitan ng switch? So kapag nasa ACC pa lang ang susi umiikot na yung fan?

    Suggestion ko pa-check mo yung thermostat, radiator cap and yung linya from the fuse box to the rad fan. Hindi dapat palaging naka on rad fan. For example when starting in the morning, hindi dapat iikot until the engine has reached proper operating temperature.

    It would appear that your cooling system may have already been "modified".

    Mga sir update lang. Napaayos ko na ung rad fan, bumili ko thermostat at bagong relay. Hindi na siya nakarekta tsaka hindi na rin nainit ung relay. Mga 2 weeks ko nang nagagamit ung sasakyan, kaya lang kanina after mga 2 hours na biyahe tumaas ung temperature ko, tigil muna ko mga 15 mins. tapos start ko ung auto ok na uli temperature, naiuwi ko naman na hindi tumataas ung temperature. Anu kaya problema? Sabi ng gumawa ok pa naman daw ung temperature sensor ko, kasi kung sira na daw dapat hindi iikot ung fan. Nalilinis ba ung sensor o palit lang talaga? Medyo nagaalala lang ako, baka abutin ako pag malayuang biyahe. Salamat mga boss.
