September 2nd, 2024 11:30 AM #1Hello!
It's been a long time since I last visited and posted in tsikot.
Anyway, I hope I can get help with an intermittent Hill Start Assist Not Available warning in my wildtrak.
It would occur either at startup or during driving already. I would stop, turn engine off and on again and it would go away.
Sometimes it's the Check Park Aid warning and the ABS warning would also light up.
and same solution.
Odo reading is 18k kms only.
I called Ford Alabang and they told me to bring it to them for diagnosis which will take 2-3 days and would cost 4.3k pesos just for the checkup.
I searched here and in the ford sections but did not come across a post related to this. Hope I'm not wrong on this.
Please advise.

September 2nd, 2024 06:57 PM #6Ay oo nga, 5 years na pala.
Recommnded dati dito Speedyfix or Speedlab.
Ok din sa Hazardboy Las Pinas.

Saan po yung Hazardboy Las Pinas? In google maps, there's one in Paranaque near Merville but says permanently closed.
Will try to go to Customers Cradle Las Pinas this week for scanning and to lift the car so we can inspect possible wiring damage.
Thanks po ulit sa sagot.

Find a place that will actually do proper diagnosing instead of just clearing the codes.
There are mechanics with a scanner that can point you in the general direction of the fault.
But there are mechanics with a scanner and knows how to actually find the actual fault(s) and fix it.

Maayos daw gawa nila.

Yes, that's what I'm looking for with the help of this forum.
At any rate, I brought the car to Customers Cradle Las Pinas yesterday.
They said that it's better to scan it if the error is always there so they did not recommend to scan.
Next, we lifted the car to inspect the wirings. Everything was in good order. No rat or cat bites whatsoever. The lines looked good all throughout.
The good thing is the error has not reappeared after 4 drives since it was last encountered. Hopefully, it does not come back anymore.
Thanks, I checked them out pero walang Michelin Ang laki ng difference ng price sa Jiga....
