OTEP, he said "2004-present Dodge Durango", that means the current 2nd gen model.
The current 2nd gen Durango is no longer based on a Dakota pickup(which is also all-new by the way), the Durango is now bigger and rides on its on chassis(fully hydroformed frame). Rear suspension now uses coil springs, live axle with trailing arms and Watt linkage. 3rd row seats are now standard by the way.

People tend to underestimate the Durango because of its styling.

...value for money, the current Durango is nearly as big as an Expedition(its now classified as a large SUV(full-size) but retains its mid-size SUV pricing.
    The 4X4 Durango with a 4.7 liter V8 costs P2.55M

the Durango will be getting a facelift for the 2007MY.
