I'd love to own a classic car. Makes me feel I own a part of history. Not my daily driver though, more like weekend car/toy car (safety reasons).
Gusto ko MB "Mr. Slim". Pwede na ba yun sa classic car or tis not "old" enough?

Suggest we not get too hung up on semantics. For some classic connotes different things. In classic car magazines for example a Mr. Slim or what they term as "pagoda" is considered a classic.
Now old school cars like starlets and celestes and machos are making a comeback.
Each individual will have their own personal faves. The reason we do need a section is because as we noted different old cars affect different people in different ways. then again old is relative.
Para at least pag may section it can cover the entire range of non-contemporary cars.
the miata is starting to gain status as a neo classic by the way. it heralded or rather sparked the re-birth of the roadster of an older era. Tapos other makes followed suit.

The El Morrocco's that I know of, are the ones from 1956-57. Basically, a small Detriot firm turned/transformed normal Chevrolet Bel-Air hardtops and convertible into vehicles with styling that were made to resemblance contemporary Cadillac Eldorado, esp. the rear styling of the expensive, rare, and opulent Brougham's, in the case of the '57 El Morrocco. Prices were said to be very close to a standard Chevrolet.
Production figures:
1956 - 27
1957 - 10

- It had a Cosworth tuned BDA engine, DOHC 16-valve inline-4, produces 115hp * 6500 rpm
0-100 kmh in 8.5 sec
Top Speed 185 km/h
The Rally "Works" version produces 160hp!

Be careful with channels like "China Observer" on YouTube. There is a clear bias in their posts and...
