Saw a black unit at Trinoma. Looks really good, just had no time to scrutinize the interior. Seems to be a good buy for the features. Has it been crash tested? This is my 1st post by the way. Hi everyone ^^
THE CAR IS SOOO COOOOOL!
My mom and I checked it out last Sunday at Trinoma.. Well, good enough compared to the price of other compact cars (Yaris, Jazz, Getz, Alto). And really affordable monthly terms.
Do they have a website? Been trying to look for a dealer. Or a showroom.
Nakita ko nga ito sa Trinoma last Sunday along with the APV, and the Nissan Navarra... Good value for money, however still questions about reliability and safety...
Reliability??
Our Benni has almost 5k mileage since it was acquired last March 4, 2008. It has been to Tagaytay 4x, Nueva Ecija 1x, Calamba, Laguna more than 5x, Subic 2x. The ride is still the same, solid no squeaks or rattles, engine power is abundant, no problem with electronics or mechanicals.
Yes, I can say it is very reliable.
We will only know 5 years from now at the very minimum. 5K mileage is not enough to gauge reliability as most of the problems will appear much later, heck my Honda Accord has 56,000++km, 9 years old and it runs well albeit its much dirtier now but thats what you will say is a reliable vehicle, I haven't changed any major components yet maliban sa mga fluids and I think I have changed the breakpads once.... As for a my Landcruiser we don't even have to discuss reliability since Landcruiser = reliability...
My old pizza Lancer, however, was initially good too but 4 years after I purchased it the suspension spooked out so I say that one was an unreliable vehicle...
eto pla un nkita kong cute red car sa greenhills nun. chana benni pla, ganda!
determining the reliability and durability of a certain brand and make cannot be determined by just years of service or kilometers covered...it will also depend on how the car was used, maintained and the parts being replaced as it worns out.. sir tidus1203 honda accord is already 9 years old but only have 56,000kms on the odo reading and i think its under used for 9 years...
we had a kia besta before and they say that the suspension is crappy.. so we used japanese brand 555 suspension parts for the rack end and tie rods and to my surprise less than a year they already gave up and become loose...then i replaced it with dreco brand (made in italy) and it lasted for 5years covering 50,000 kms until we sold it and still in good condition..
in car crash test, even a car has a high rating it doesn't necessarily mean its safe... it will all depend on how you drive and if it is your time then prepare to meet thy Maker... we have seen cars even how good at crash test still was unable to protect its passengers..so it is better to drive defensively and be alert at all times..
