The current line-up of Chevrolet Philippines from GMDAT are continuations of platforms and engines originally developed under Daewoo. In fact, the Optra, Aveo and Spark are merely rebadged Daewoo products.

It's only newer products like the Captiva and the Cruze that are fully GM developed, post-Daewoo...

GM Daewoo now produces vehicles and kits for Chevrolet, Buick, Opel, Vauxhall, Pontiac, Holden and Suzuki that are offered in more than 150 markets on six continents. 67% of Daewoo are owned by GM, 10+% by suzuki and the rest to others. that is why in some country optra is called forenza or lacetti while captiva is in some country called winstorm.

Any news about cruze diesel? Irelease kaya ito dito sa pinas. Sana makarating dito para may option other than the ford focus tdci.

for now, only 1.8 gas lang. but in Base, LS and LT

I<m not interested with any chevy product, not a pilipino friendly interms of its performances (poor), maintenance (high cost), defective parts and poor performance technicians, (parang walang alam). toooooo bad. kahit ibigay sa akin yan, tatanggihan ko.
