I'm paying 4,000 or so for my 2.0. If it's one of those PMS's that doesn't require anything but oil and an oil filter, 2,600 or so.Originally Posted by AG4

Kawawa naman ang Optra binugbog nyo todo.![]()
So far, Optra namin 1 problem lang, paos yung busina. I love the suspension though (ridewise), konti nalang, parang yung E34 ko na (my E34 wears 225/55R16). Firm but not jarring. Interior is muy comfortable.
Ikaw naman bluebmw, love d bimmer, but keep an open mind.![]()
What horn does your Optra have?Originally Posted by flagg
I've heard many later model Optras with a horn tone similar to the Astra's, not sure if those are standard though.
diba free yung first 30,000km PMS ng Chevy?
BTW i observed lang that the idling of the optra A/T is at 1,000 RPM. That's without aircon. it seems a bit high since some of my other cars have idling at 500-700 rpm lang with A/C off. Might be the cause of the high fuel mileage of the optra.
Just found this post dated 2-24-2006......
Question: Do we really need to tweak the ECU to get a lower idling? Baka naman kasi all it will take is just a slight twist of a screw sa gas pedal mechanism (or whatever you call it).
Thank you very much in advance for taking the time to reply.
hmmm...madami-dami na akong nakikitang pre-owned optra. bakit kaya?
Ilang years ba talaga ang warranty ng Optra?
alam ko lang 35,000 kms
Hmm.If Im not mistaken ganyan din kataas yung sa optra ko..BTW i observed lang that the idling of the optra A/T is at 1,000 RPM. yung mga bagong labas na Optra, wala ng free PMS.
wow nakamuffler at filter pala optra mo..ayos ah..astig..Originally Posted by SupreMacy

triangular pa nga yung stock na muffler eh, nakakatawa ang hitsura.
ayos ah... saktong sakto.
yun ba talaga ang common choice pag dating sa mga mods?

hindi naman hula ko lang yun..hehe..
Yes, only in the USA. In Canada its also known as a Chevy Optra.guys, ung suzuki forenza = chevy optra?
In Canada the Optra slots between the Aveo and Cobalt, they seem to prefer small cars since they offer more compact models in canada compared to the USA.
Its been out since 2003, its a known fact that fuel efficiency is the Optras weakest point. Many people buy it for its overall value.Originally Posted by ale828

Anyway, the Chevy Optra seems to be doing ok since I see a handful of new models on the road everyday...
