Chevrolet Captiva [Merged]

Orlien, nagtest drive ako last June ng Captiva diesel sa Alabang at di ko naman masasabing underpowered sya. Then nagbasa ako ng mga thread dito sa tsikot at napansin ko lang na mas maraming problem yung ibang SUV kesa sa Captiva. Took me 5 months in comparing the threads here before I bought the unit this month. Next week p nga lang marerelease at excited nko. Sa resale nmn, di ko iniisip yan kasi parang part na ng family yan.

ah ganun po ba.. hanap na lang din po siguro ako.. nagtanong na din kasi ako sa casa nun.. 25k sya nung kinuha yung unit nung january.. thanks po sa help..

congratulations for choosing the captiva. you won't regret it. you're lucky the captiva now comes as 7 seater. i suggest having some paint protection and additional rustproffing like ziebarts.

i just pruchased my captiva at pasong tamo last month, when my mileage reached 2000km the only problem i experienced was that hindi na pantay nung muffler nang captiva ko, and may rust build up. ive seen these problems with most of the captivas on the road.

ano kaya solution dito? rustproof kaya?

maganda ride nang captiva, smooth nice handling, un nga lang walang stability control, but other than that its a good car. pretty neat sound system btw!

sir, i think it is available on the AWD captiva version.

same with me, my right muffler exhaust end is a bit lower. mostly ito sa gas version. ung diesel if you compare it's balance. actually, di ko lang napansin yung sa captiva ko but surely, sadya na siguro yun kase factory welded o soldered yung entire muffler end set.

yung rust its normal because of our weather. but its in your own discretion how ur going to maintain it.

Akala ko mahuhulog na at bibigay na ang muffler naten hehe. Good news is buti hindi naman seryoso nung issue kagaya nang sabi mo sir. Anyway under warranty pa rin naman nung captiva kaya pinabalik ko sa casa free wheel alignment, nagasgas ko front bumper and rear bumper nang captiva ko tapos free rin ang pag paggawa nun, and free na pag ayos nang muffler.

So far aftersales service at chevrolet pasong tamo is excellent. Only downside is it took them more than seven days.

hi guys i'm also a captiva owner and i tricked-out my ride and i would just like to share it with you guys.

some DIY...smoke headlight, taillight & turn signals,
blacked-out all the emblems and chrome parts,
MOMO accessories (shifter & pedals)
upgraded my whole car audio system (Alpine LCD HU, Focal speakers, Rockford amps, JL sub, Alpine sound processor)

I want to change my rims next =)
