Its finally being offered in the USA. I think the korean factory will soon assemble this for our region. The 2nd generation 1.4T is amazingly frugal based on american reviews unlike the focus ecoboost. NVH is class leading. 0-60 7.7s from the 153hp turbo. These chinese engineers did well on the 1.4T. Its been selling really well in china.

I really wish the 2017 trax gets the new microtec engine. But it will not unfortunately 😢


A new 1.6D whisper diesel might be offered in the asean region come 2018. Not yet sure as its still far from production.
