    Malaysians dealers are accepting orders..

They have 5yr/200,000km warranty. Yearly maintenance.

Impressive. I wonder if the longer warranty is because of a new dexos2.

While doing my 65k PMS, Chevy Dagupan was kind enough to let me do a mini-test drive of the 2017 4x2 model (kahit display unit pa lang ang dumating).
    - Her NVH has improved a lot... but slight vibration can still be felt while at idle through the rearview mirror.
    - Steering system comparison is night and day against my old unit. Parang truck na ang dala ko pag-uwi hahaha.
    - dashboard design is much better but the plastic material used is not a major upgrade for me.
    - NO change of the shifter cover and steering wheel material. Same plastic pa rin ng old model.
    - side panel doors garnish is just a notch higher for me.
    - front design has improved a bit but they should also slap the DRL into the headlights assembly for this model.
    - i feel the engine response is the same but maybe my impression will change if i've done the test drive on a longer route.
Para sa akin ok na ako sa overall upgrade nitong 2017 model kasi na-address na yung major concern ko na NVH. Bonus na lang yung interior at extetior improvements.

The complete specs for 2017 Trailblazer is on their website now:

TRAILBLAZER FEATURES & SPECS | Chevrolet Cars, Trucks, SUVs, Crossovers and Vans

The feature set of 2.8L 4x2 LT variant is such a let down. It does not have almost all of the features that have been added to this new generation:

    Front / Rear Park Assits
    Remote Start Engine
    Standard Traction Control System
    Hill Start Assist
    Hill Descent Control
    Trailer Sway Control
    Brake Assist
    Electronic Brake Force Distribution
    Electronic Stability Control
    Front Collision Alert
    Lane Departure Warning
Active Safety Side Blind Zone Alert
    Rear Cross Traffic Alert
    Steering Wheel Radio Controls
    Steering Wheel Phone Controls
    Steering Wheel Cruise Controls
    Roof Rail
    Auto Rain Sensor

Such a pity it could have been a good value contender if all of the features above were available also in 4x2 AT variant.

    Binarat ang filipino consumers.

    Feeling toyota ... amp

In australia they offered two variants because it will be a volume seller. Sell well in australia.

    Dont buy this 1.5M bs...

Dual airbags for all variants??? While tge Montero, Fortuner and Everest already sport 6-7 airbags in at least one variant. Montero Sport and Everest have 6 airbags in their mid variants, while the Fortuner has 3 airbags in their 4x2 variants. And no HID headlights while their competitors already have HIDs or LEDs as their headlights. The 2017 PH Spec Trailblazer is a let down for me. I'm after the safety features. Chevrolet PH could have brought the Trailblazer with 6-7 airbags just like in other markets, but they chose not because of reasons I don't know

It doesn't even have Auto Climate Control. I thought Fortuner G 4x2 at 1.4+M was bare enough. Never thought Chevy will strip down the spec this much, in a situation where all other competitors are upping their game.

Destined to fail like the Chevrolet fail.

But still with only 2 airbags. A major deal breaker for me since I know I can get similar active safety features together with complete sets of airbags with other SUVs.

Also, it doesn't help that the 4x2 AT variant, which is supposed to be the volume seller, is severely stripped out of all these goodies.

If only chevy ph offered the 2.5vgt 6at with a lower price than its 2.8vgt variant... they will probably sell more...

Aida from motioncars.inquirer.net is a terrible writer.

She did not mention one of the biggest changes for this suv - the EPAS.

Her paragraphs about torque and hp are horrendous. She mentioned it cruises easily at 1500rpm while not mentioning the speed.

Speeding at 120kph and not mentioning the rpm. Am I suppose to correlate the two?

Not just the writer. Laging ganyan ang motioncars. It's like a copy paste work from HS student report. Sobrang haba palagi. Pero parang ang konti ng content

Even Aida's photography skills are non existent. Overexposed grainy pictures.

She wouldnt pass tgph's or ai's standards...

In fairness to Ms. Sevilla-Mendoza, her piece relative to the 2017 Chevrolet TB is written with clarity, largely comprehensible to a man on the street.

30 years of writing motoring column, she must be a somebody. Nikki or Vernon might be in their teens when she started writing.

I would be very happy if I could write half as good as her.

You are welcome, but does one need to be a mechanic to be a very good motoring columnist?

Chevy Indonesia will introduce the new Tbz with a 2.5Vgt and 6spd trans for the same price as the Fort G. They have more sense than Chevy Ph.

    1.476m vs 1.476m
