Phones and vehicles are entirely different products and the cost difference is quite huge.

hmmm, South Korea!
phones are not the same as cars. cars use steel and other metal alloys. these are strategic materials which technology are not so readily shared by nations. electronic technology used on phones on the other hand are not secret are in fact become "old technology" in a few months. japanese cars many decades ago were also considered inferior to US cars. same with korean (south) cars made some 20 years ago (e.g., kia pride). the metal was so soft that i changed the clutch disc twice in the 3 years i had my kia pride. i remember buying a clutch disc in banawe then and the store gave me a choice between a korean made part and a US made part (the ford fiesta and the kia pride were the same vehicles circa 1991). he hit the korean clutch disc with a US made clutch disc and vice versa. the korean made disc had a dent in both instances, the US made one had none.
china made vehicles don't last. not now anyway. besides, why buy from the enemy of your country?
chinese gas guzzler
Now, before getting to the subject of driving, it’s best to reserve a few words to describe the Sail’s styling: it’s…what car is this again?
At 4,000 rpm or peak torque, you’ll begin to swear you’re driving a diesel. Accompanying the vocal-ness, there’s also some minute vibration that’s more reminiscent of a 3-cylinder rather than a 4-cylinder one.Review: 2 17 Chevrolet Sail 1.5 LTZ | ************ - Philippine Car News, Car Reviews, Car Features, Car Buyer's Guide and Car Prices.a week’s driving in city traffic only managed 6.75 km/L. That’s already well in the range of a gas-powered compact crossovers or larger-engined compact sedan.

My issue with the car is after sales support...
I have friends who own various cars from Chevrolet and the dealership just don't have stocks of the required parts.
