Crazy dealers with their DIs. Notice this happens the most with American car brands? Pati yung Ford ganiyan e.

The willingness to pay is there, pero niloloko na talaga yung mga consumer dito.

All car dealers naman except gray market dealers are asking for DI, on average mga 1% lang binibigay ng bank. Pero pag may hot selling vehicle sila at limited ang supply, doon lang sila humihingi ng mas mataas na DI to maximize profit. 3% DI is maliit lang compared to what Ford was requiring before sa Explorer para maprioritized mga buyer. 10% DI.

Kaya pala di ka pa binibigyan ng unit. You didn't get the 3% DI. Kaya naunahan ka ng iba. GH-EDSA told me before na mas priority kami pag 3% DI. Then pag black and other colors ang choice namin, nakuha na namin TrailB by 1st week of December.

So happy to change dealer na since pag ibang color na gusto namin, pila kami ulit sa color na yun. Sa dealer namin ngayon, readily available na yung bagong color na gusto namin. Ang dali pa i-pa cancel yung PO sa GH-EDSA then send sa bagong dealer yung PO.

Akala ko by reservation ang basis nila?

Buti nga hindi 5-10% yung DI, kung hindi abuso na yan.

Sayang ren ang Chevy. Was considering this but i dont like how the predatory practice ng dealers. Chevy is trying to re establish its image but nasisiraan sila ng dealers. Kung hindi in house financng absurd accessories package.

For those planning to change HU, as long as walang splicing di mavovoid and electrical warranty. Any good installer can source you OEM harnesses for piece of mind.

As far as the HU shown is it China made? If it lacks any tuning capability even if you put a nice pair of seps, amp and a sub if your audio source lacks tuning options then the output mght not sound good. I still would prefer to get a pioneer dvd HU with the dash kit and window mounted gps since i bet you it will sound better, but thats just me and to each is own.

I hope the distributor corrects these irresponsible dealers

paging DTI is it legal? unfair naman yan sa mga nagpa reserve...i remember yung paglabas ng fortuner may under the table pa kung talagan nagmamadali ka unless any availale color na on stock safe ka sa sa pang hold up ng dealer

Tuning capability is the same as ng mga OEM DVD/GPS HU ng Montero Sport at Fortuner. May pang bass, midrange at treble. No graphic and parabolic EQ bands nga lang. Ang solution dyan is to buy a sound processor.

Nung sa Fortuner before, naalala ko when we bought ours Toyota Commonwealth and Toyota Dagupan required us to get the 50k Kelseat leather package (seats and door trims). Or else, hintay ng 1 year. Willing naman kami noon, pero Dagupan lang ang may available unit agad. May DI din yata noon. 3% din yata.

Ito malala sa Ford. Sabi sa akin ng apat na dealer na pinuntahan ko: sir pareserve na kayo ngayon ng Explorer (June) tapos ito mga required payments (kasama doon 10% DI pag bank PO). Ako: ang taas naman ng DI niyo. Pag gusto ko 1-3% DI lang, ano mangyayari? Ford dealers: sir di niyo makukuha Explorer niyo sa 1st week of December. Ako: Ah ganun ba? Sa inyo na lang yan!

I was thinking, if dealers are so keen to extort more of our hard earned cash from us then why don't they just jack up their prices nalang? Atleast 'di hindi masyadong halata that they're robbing us. I know we don't want any price increase pero grabe naman kasi, parang tayo pa ang namamalimos from them.

Hindi lang dumi sir, pati scratches! I've been thinking about it and I think ang solution na mabilis are those stickers na ginagamit na parang foil-a-car. *Steer used it to color key his B-pillar. I'm gonna pay a visit to where he got them sa may DAWG shop near Orthopedic sa Banawe and have my B-pillars done as well as the scuffs
