June 5th, 2007 08:56 AM #11Hi! 04 Optra owner din ako. Sobrang lakas nga sa gas ng Optra. I only get 6.5-7 km/liter city driving. Compared with my 97 lancer which gets 8.5-9 km/liter and 01 ford lynx 9 km/liter. Nagtanong na rin ako sa kakilala ko na nagpareprogram sa Chevy Pasig. Ang feedback niya sa akin ay...He can now get 9 km/liter but humina daw yung hatak. Kung minsan nga daw namamatayan pa siya ng engine. Nagdadalawang isip tuloy ako kung magpapareprogram pa ako kasi baka matulad din ako sa experience nung kakilala ko. But anyway... I am apealing for those optra owners here in tsikot to give/share their experiences. Thanks and more power!

RE: Chevy Optra Reprogramming[Scanned]
Hi Leo,
Yes, my Optra’s consumption before preprogramming is from 5 to 6km/liter. After reprogramming, consumption is now 8 to 9.5km/liter. Medyo nagbago yung takbo ng makina. Humina nga lang and may time pa na biglang namamatay yung engine. Now I even use high octane gasoline para di mamatayan. So parang pareho lang J Sa may Chev Pasig ako.
Regards,
Arnel

June 5th, 2007 10:01 PM #14Had my 2003 Chevy Optra a/t reprogrammed in Chevrolet Pasig but it cost me 3K!!!!
bakit free yung sa iba?
anyway, my previous consumption was arnd 7km/l pero sabi ng technician in chevy pasig ok na daw yung consumption ko but i still had it reprogrammed, after the reprogram i am getting 7.5- 8 km/L in pure city. i can get around 10-11km/L in mixed city driving. not bad but i drive very economically.
The best solution i found to this fuel consumption is to buy a Honda jazz, now i get 14-16km/l in city driving. hehehe

April 15th, 2008 01:40 AM #19Can you do this for ford lynx 2000 A/T as well? I only get around 6.5 km/liter conservative driving. I think this is way to much gas consumption.

November 8th, 2008 09:35 PM #20Free po ba magpa-reprogram sa Chev North Edsa/Balintawak? If not, how much will it cost me? thanks..
IIRC they're with AVID. The reported numbers in the TG article are from CAMPI.
