Based on a few xiaomi products that I have tried, there is still a lot to be desired with their quality.
Wifi extender for fiber broadband - inconsistent speed
Vacuum cleaner - damage UV light in less than a year
Smart weighing scale - dropped bluetooth connectivity

Opposite sa akin. Started using Xiaomi products since lockdown (panay shopee kasi)
Several units of air purifier/filters, operating 24/7, all still working.
Several different types of mobile chargers, ok pa din lahat
IP cameras, ok pa din lahat, bwisit lang meron pala region setting, kaya hindi ko magamit ilang units.

I bought a few celphones from xiaomi. All of them lasted longer than the samsungs i had. Hehe.
Maayos din yung dashcam nila for the price

I have not tried all their products so Im sure may good quality din. Just like the japanese and US brands na may quality issues rin (cough, cough, ford).
The concept I shared above is what I have experienced with western manufacturing set ups that spend more on R&D, kaya the better the quality and functionality, the expensive it gets.

China R&D expenditures = Industrial Espionage and Intellectual Property Theft ... they go as far as stealing corn seeds from US ...

Based on key indicators of innovation and advanced-industry performance, China has surpassed the United States in total innovation output and is getting close on a proportional basis. To regain its leadership, the United States must respond more strategically and forcefully.

Bloomberg - Are you a robot?
then here comes Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) -- a fairly large bank, favorite bank of SV startups and venture capital firmsSilvergate Plans to Wind Down Bank Operations and Liquidate
SVB said they need to raise capital

Bitcoin in freefall...
Crypto industry in turmoil... when playing digital assets.
yes coz they parked a lot of money in bonds (mortgage-backed securities, treasuries)
as interest rates rise, bond prices fall
when they needed liquidity they sold some bonds at a loss (not good)
so they decided to raise money
they announced they'll sell new shares
this was 2 days ago:
problem is the market perceived it as "why do you need to raise money? are you in trouble?"
(Silvergate bank just shut down, the market was jittery)
so people started withdrawing their money
the perception that the bank was in trouble became reality
