True. Isang food supps supplier namin, nagsabi na ng problema sa supplies kasi galing Russia o Ukraine yun isang ingredient nila.

Queues of vessels carrying raw materials have jumped after Shanghai initiated a city-wide lockdown at the end of last month to combat Covid-19. More than two weeks on, the congestion has expanded to nearby Ningbo-Zhoushan as ship-owners desperately divert ships to other ports in the country to avoid the trucker shortage and warehouse closures in Shanghai.

    Sir Boybi was right

weeks ago i mentioned that India's wheat export can make up for Russian wheat but Boybi said baka di mag export ang India

    --

PH will really be in trouble if the export ban trend reaches rice exporters

India, the world's 2nd top wheat producing country after China, has banned export of their wheat.

    Russia is No. 3.

Wala na globalization. Kanya kanya na, every country for themselves. Need dapat maging self dependent mga countries.

the world is headed for deglobalization

the US wants to be less dependent on china

the US wants divorce from china

they want to remove chinese companies from US exchanges, ban exports of sensitive products, etc

2nd, after experiencing supply chain disruptions the US realized they need to rethink their supply chain (reshoring)

mahahati ang mundo -- countries the orbit the US and countries that orbit china

mali ang food security policy ng pinas

masyado nawili sa OFW phenomena di na priority ang local food production

dahil meron lagi $$$ pambayad sa import

but that only works when times are good... when exporters are willing to sell

akala ng pinas times will always be good

Lakas kasi corruption dyan. Fertilizer fund scam of GMA comes to mind kung gaano katindi. Kahit yung Masagana program ba yun ni FM wala din.

Madami kasi kumikita sa kolokohan. Hirap tibagin ng sistema.
