But yeah, we never know when a position/opportunity opens and it's good to be ready when it does. Last time I applied for a promotion I had to go through 2 attempts before I got it on the 3rd (yes, like pia wurtzbach). Pinagpraktisan ko yung first 2 kumbaga. Sobrang structured kasi ng interview/selection process sa min, it helps kung familiar ka na.

2. Jollibee fry man , 6 months.

After graduated to college.

1. SgML Proofreader 8 months.
2. Computer Technician. 1 year.
3. Service engineer ng online bingo.. 1 year. Nag sara nung ma out si Pres. Erap
4. Isp Onsite Tech Support. 3 years. Nag resign dahil mukhang magsara ang kompanya after merger.
5. System Administrator.. 3 years. Resigned dahil mukhang magsara na naman kompanya.
6. Eto na current. Started Specialist, Systrms Administrator, naging Supervisor, asst. Manager, Manager, Manager 1 ng IT Server Support. 12 years and counting. Hehe.. dito Na pumuti buhok ko.

Cat, benchmark tayo. What is the equivalent pay on the 3rd year and what is the escalation rate? Ours start on the 10th year at 50% of base pay and 5% escalation.

Yung bonus is a one time thing or will add to your basic income? And is it a fixed amount or a percentage of your monthly?

Ten years sa amin token lang hahaha. Actually lahat ng Milestone token. 5-10-15-20-25-30 walang cash incentive. 5 years is just a plaque.

May computation sila, we start at 50% on the 3rd year then 7% every year so on the 10th year it's 100%.

Stayed in this workplace from 1998 t0 2014. Had major disagreements with the boss so i left. 2015 new boss came and asked me to come back. Offered me a higher position so I came back. All in all 19 yrs na. Next year, after 20 yrs of working for uncle Sam I am eligible for special immigrant visa. Major decision next year to go or stay.
