bro -- i am currently negotiating the confidentiality undertaking with the principals already. we have been exchanging emails on the subject this week

once we pass this stage and agree, then the transcription will follow.

mga bros -- thanks for all your prayers

the commercial test file just came in this morning. its about 1mb long plus a pdf file on the rules for transcription such as using english UK, capitalization, highlighting etc

ako muna ang mag transcribe nito anyway its still on a commercial test basis

if i pass this, then the formal contract will follow and so will be the need for a pool of transcribers

i will keep you all posted

bro -- for now, wala pa akong idea kung ilang transcribers ang kailangan ko.

it will all depend on the volume, i.e. the larger the volume, the more transcribers i will need

i am just soliciting for a pool right now and once go na ito, i will meet all those interested and discuss the details

Hindi naman ganun kalaki. Maraming words sa American English at sa The Queen's English na pareho - nagkakaiba lang sa spelling e.g. program - programme, color - colour. Pero, meron ding words na magkaiba pero iisa ibig sabihin e.g. elevator for the Americans, lift for the Brits. Ang medyo mahirap lang eh yung mga Brit words na wala sa American vocabulary. Medyo kailangan ng Oxford Dictionary at Thesaurus dito.

All in all, sa pronunciation ng words magkakatalo. Medyo mahirap intindihin ang pronunciation ng mga taga UK, lalo na yung taga Ireland at Scotland.
