    OT (heads-up):

Maybe some of our Tsikoteers can illustrate using numbers.

Does the math really add up?

I mean, certainly you have to take into account monthly expenses for:

    Fuel
    Maintenance
    Spare parts
    Depreciation
    Insurance

(This assumes you have no interest expense in amortizing the cost of the vehicle and do not pay a driver wages since you'll be doing the driving)

So, supposing the car you're using for Uber operations is brand new, you tend to spend less for maintenance and spare parts. The cost of fuel would be variable based on consumption and fuel prices. But as you go along, you spend more for maintenance and depreciation for the car.

Does it still result in a profit of Php15-20 k/monthly?

Ako I'm still skeptical.

Uber profit

I'm a bit skeptical as well since sa depreciation palang, assuming it's for a Php 500,000 car and you're depreciating over 5 years, that's about Php 8,333 in depreciation cost alone per month. Dagdag pa fuel, periodic maintenance (which could be more frequent given that the vehicle is used a lot)...medyo ang mahal na ng running costs.
