Baliktad naman, I tend to spend on jeans kasi I only own 2 and have it for a loooongg time hanggang mapunit na lol
I buy dresses in Shein pero mostly manipis tela so I need to wear a slip underneath

Slip? As in half slip? I'm just reminded of half slip from my aunt and Lola when I was a kid. I like wearing them dahil satin ba sya or silk? Masarap sa balat. I call them "hapislip". Back then they thought I'll be gay. [emoji23]
Now none of my wife and daughters have half slip. Hindi na ba sya uso? Or ngayon ba uso eh shorts na lang under the palda?
Yes half slip. Mine are super old na and I wear it pag manipis yung damit or when I am wearing white. I dont know anyone else who wears half slip pa rin but when I searched at Shopee madami pa din for sale. Sa dept store kasi hindi na common. Im glad na half slips aren't gone yet.
Yung iba ata shorts na nga lang suot but I still prefer half slip, mas maganda rin bagsak ng damit with it
LOL * sinuot mo half slip ng Mom and lola mo but yeah satin/silk. The new ones are cotton na.

Ito ang Shein ng bansang CHINA WUHAN VIRUS ... Shein sent American influencers to China. Social media users are furious | CNN Business
pare-pareho lang gumagamit ng sweatshop
pero syempre may double standard and western media
pag american companies gumagamit ng sweatshop dina-downplay
pag china company exage
di ko alam ano ang point nito
pag nasa china = bad?at least Nike and Adidas has other factories outside of China. Most of their factories are actually outside China na.
pag outside china = good?
so this is bad?Shein is almost 99% China made.
saan ba dapat mag manufacture ang shein para good sila?
And those are large US brands, meron proper governance, CSR and ethics. Management gurus are mostly American pa so they teach this to the next generation
Kasi when a US company pays China to manufacture for them, the factory workers are not under the US company, the Chinese company is responsible for their employees. I think they cut ties naman when they find out na bad working condition. May factories din naman in other countries (including PH) pero China talaga notorious sa inhumane working conditions.
Another issue with Shein is they copy designs, example yung Selkie, it's not so huge yet pero ginaya na nila. It's less evil kung sa large companies na lang sila gumaya hehe
Exactly what I am saying, hindi naman hawak ng Nike when they outsource in another country but when they do find out na may exploitation, inaayos nila
Just like when you build your house, yung contractor kausap mo at hindi mo naman employees mga carpintero, mason, latero niya etc.
ang point namin ni boybi
tinitira ng western media ang shein for using sweatshops
pero gumagamit din ng sweatshops ang US companies
-
and what difference does it make if a sweatshop is in china or outside china
a sweatshop is a sweatshop
