    market value = # of shares x price per share. so if your 500,000 shares closed at 0.68, their value is 340,000.

    par value means nothing unless you're the accountant responsible for preparing financial statements.

    what you might be asking is how to calculate your gains on your investment...that is simply the current market price of a share, minus the price you paid per share, times the number of shares you have.

    JDV and Zubiri bla bla are just only blah blah I dont know whos feeding infos to these two idiots...I live here in sugarlandia but i never met a sugar planter whos planning to convert his crops this year for ethanol use. Better ask the sugar millers they know whats happening. The Zubiris owns a sugar central in bukidnon hmmmmm...

    sugar prices zoom up coz of the U.S. export quota not with the ethanol dreams...not this year maybe 3- 5 years from now.
