Im planning to expand my busines to include highland veggies. Recently got a PR for tons of assorted veggies. I need a real wholesaler, prices that are farm gate or near farm gate prices. I contacted people I know but I find their prices more of 2nd stage middle man.

Any lakay here familiar with the trading post in La Trinidad know a stall or trader that sell bulk in farm gate prices?

Im on my way to La Trinidad now to meet my contact, I need some sort of second opinion.

not long ago tomatoes in batangas were destroyed due to oversupply

we always hear people say baket di nalang dalhin ung mga produkto sa lugar na nangangailanan

    transportation cost

oo mura nga ung produkto itself at the source, pero pag nalaman mo magkano ang transportation at magkano mo maibebenta sa bagsakan, di na worth it

    kaya tinatapon nalang

taon-taon na lang every december to january nagakakaroon damaged by typhoon/frost/oversupply. So sana matancha na yan ng mag-gugulay.

So ang maging benefit nyan eh "pataba sa lupa." = maganda pa din for future harvest.

i think the glut was because every farmer there decided to plant the same crop at the same time, and harvesting them also at the same time.
just in time to meet the bad weather.

Maybe DOT should come up with a vegetable festival similar to La Tomatina in Spain.

Charge participants for entry and use vegetables with oversupply. Yung carrots mukhang sandali nga lang yung festival pag ginamit

Kumusta yung mga may vegetable business? plano kong mag venture sa business na to since maraming farm produce dito malayong mas mura at wala sa ibang probinsiya.
