Yup total relationship balance. Okay na sa BPI, sa HSBC mas mataas pa requirement, dati nung may Citibank pa, mas lalong mataas. Kaya pag may account sa Citibank, mayaman lol.

Can you be more specific? Kasi my SA balance is very low since the advent of Digi banks, I don't have any form of deposit with the bank to put me at 1M ADB, yet I retain preferred status?

Something weird happening to BPI. Some people can't login to the app. Some can't transfer, I can't see my CC transactions. Last night I paid a bill and it seems the money is back to my account and no transaction history. Yung iba nag negative balance daw.

If I remember correctly this happened a few years back.

A lot of failed instapay transfers with various banks were also reported in the Digibanks group in FB. Napa praning ako so I decided to pay my CC bill early na lang, as the funds will come from separate Digibanks taking advantage pa sana of their higher interest rates. Baka abutan pa ako malas at magkanda offline ang mga systems at ma late payment penalty pa ako.

Pinadala ko kahapon kanina lang nacredit sa BPI accunt ko. Usually nagrereflect na yun after a minute.

Dami ako nababasa yung iba hindi nag reflect. Yung iba doble bawas.

Yung unang issue nila na madami naapektuhan yung ang wake up call ko na need pala madaming option na bank..
Tumatak sakin yung na-interview sa balita na magbabayad na sila sa hospital pero hindi sila makakuha ng pera..

Tagal ko na sa BPI, wala pa naman problema. Tsaka lahat naman ng banks dito nahahack din at one point or another.

My daughter just received a phone call re BPI CC points to be forfeited due to the BPI Robinsons Bank merger, and that they will convert the points to cash and send it to her thru Maya. She believed them until they told her to log in to her BPI online account using an OTP that they just sent. Buti na lang medyo natauhan and she stopped the call and locked her account. The OTP was sent via the legit BPI sms system where she has an existing thread. Ingat tayo

Banks will never call anyone for their reward points. They might be trying to "forget password" her account. Ask her to change her password.

She locked it and called BPI, they advised her to set up another account which she did already.

Edit add: I think you're right, I tried forgot password and yes, the guy asked for her username and they probably were able to get her credit card account number kasi alam daw nung kausap and the bday, it's easy to get that info naman. I bet an accomplish already had her username on standby and just waiting for her to give the OTP. She was just seconds away from being cleaned out.

I’ve been trying to find ways how to transfer for free from BPI to other banks. So far, for me, the best way is this:
BPI --> Vybe (by BPI) --> other banks
Transfers are free
Vybe is an eWallet like Maya, GCash

BPI issued an avisory. Mukhang Microsoft issues affected their systems.
