I have the new Rav4.

The four are facing front within the grill opening (seen from outside), about 6-8 inches apart, evenly spaced out.

I used 2 relays (since 2 sets).

yankee truck horn po yan. air tank lang with 90psi max ang karga, re-charge na lang pag naubusan. wala pang makitang mura at maganda 12v compressor.

I'm currently using FIAMM AM-80 on my Sonata (OEM horn sa Expedition so kung nasira I know where to get a replacement easily hahaha)

However, recently I'm being annoyed by jeeps nanaman. So I'm thinking of upgrading to an even louder horn. The louder, the better. Any suggestions? I'm also open to airhorns. Kindly post model, price, and suggested "quantity" :naughty2:

Well, thanks to my sound insulation and ridiculous ICE system, I can't really hear my 108 dBs outside.. it translates more of 80dBs inside the cabin (something like your regular talking volume). In fact, I've been known to honk continuously for 5 minutes until somebody was annoyed enough to throw a mango at my windshield during those insane traffic moments in Monumento (seriously, there's like DIY shops occupying the second lane)

sir kamusta tunog nito? based sa mga videos na nakita ko parang katunog niya ung mitsuba turbine na copy.. tama ba? pero sa lakas i think mas malakas tong piaa? d pa kasi ako naka dinig ng harapan.. planning to buy this.. nakakasawa na kasi airhorn lalo may delay.. nasanay ako sa bosch ec6 ko na potpot lang tunog agad.. pero ang habol kong lakas at tono is ung sa mitsuba copy ko dati.. itong piaa superior bass horns ang nakita kong tatapat.. inputs please.. thanks..

Just mount the compressor as close as possible to the horns to shorten the hose length and get instant response. Maintain the compressor with some drops of 3-in-1 multipurpose oil to get faster air vane movement resulting to louder and more responsive airhorn blast.

Guys planning to upgrade my Ranger's horn tomorrow, need your advice:

- Ano magandang pot-pot horn? Looking at Bosch EC6 right now. What I want is the nearest sound to the OEM Mercedes-Benz horn. Sobrang nagustuhan ko yung tunog nung nakagamit ako ng C200 CGI eh.

- Malakas ba yung EC6? My Ranger's current horn is actually loud, halos kasing lakas ng isang pair ng Europa Silver.

- Saan maganda magpagawa? Planning to just go to Banawe then look for a shop there kaso baka tagain ako.. AFAIK nasa 900 ang EC6 plus install and relay so mga 1.5k lahat lahat siguro. Tama ba?

Sa mga pot pot horns, isa ang bosch ec6 sa mga pinakamaganda, basta kasya sa grill mo. If hindi, wala ka choice kundi mag PIAA slim horn, around 2.3k yung kuha ko sa sulit, nasa 5k sya kung sa concorde or sa mga auto accessories supplier sa banawe ata.

Di mo kailangan ng relay if may relay na dati yung old horn mo. To check if may relay, remove the old horn, then habang open yung hood and driver side window, pindutin mo busina, if may clicking sound ka na narinig, ibig sabihin may relay na dati yung horn mo.

Btw, mas maigi kung alam mo locations ng relay mo para you can remove the cover and mas marining clicking ng relay.

I tried Bosch before on my Innova but i still preferred the FIAMM sound. You can also consider putting in two ssets of horns (two FIAMMS maybe?).

Personally, if you have the budget, the Bosch Europa silvers are really nice. Classy sound and loud enough.

At Banawe, i usually go to Bless or C3/Autospecs for accessories and horns.
