March 22nd, 2015 11:42 AM #8Avoid the Bosch Europa. My first Europa Silver from Winterpine conked out in 1 1/2 years. They failed to fix it so I bought a pair of Black Europas. They started sounding hoarse in less than year.
I tried to claim warranty from Winterpine last week but they refused replacement. Micky who was managing the repairs said the horns were OK again after some screws were tightened.
Curious that they were able to "fix" something under warranty but were unable to do the same with my first pair that was slightly out of warranty.

some horns have adjusting screws at the back..it's user-serviceable if user knows his way around the car. Originally Posted by Pipefish

loud but not irritating to the eardrums.
i am told the toyota crowns have such horns?
