    hi,

just bought a mirage G4 GLS and
need your advise po on below:

    1. pwede ba lagyan ng rear view camera ang G4 and san pwede ipalagay and ano brand ang maganda at a reasonable price. if ever ipa install sa labas will it void yung casa warranty? yung monitor ba nito will be another/separate screen or ico-connect nalang sa existing screen sa me dashboard?

    thank you

yes. sa bumper, drill-hole type. or sa license plate, bolt-on type.

i use a China-made camera. more than a year na and still working. costs P1,500 in Banawe with 1 year warranty. connected to Pioneer AVH-1450DVD head unit.

if you want branded cameras, you can buy Pioneer, Sony, Kenwood, Panasonic, etc. these costs more, from P5,000 and up.

if ever ipa install sa labas will it void yung casa warranty?
warranty will only be voided if problem/damage is caused by the added part. para sure ka, call the CASA before you install anything.

yung monitor ba nito will be another/separate screen or ico-connect nalang sa existing screen sa me dashboard?
meron model na may kasamang separate screen. meron model na camera lang. if may AV INPUT ang stock screen mo, then pwedeng camera lang ang bilhin mo.

^^^ Yes you can install reverse camera and connect it to the existing head unit. Best to get the model that can be mounted above license plate, it gives a better view compared to the bumper type camera plus you don't need to drill a hole. These cost about P2000. Try MASPRO in Banawe.

Warranty won't be an issue. If it becomes an issue, you can always have it removed before claiming warranty.

note that the newly designed LTO license plates will use LTO security locks. this could pose an issue with cameras that install on license plates (bolt-on type).

^^^ The reverse camera is not bolted onto the license plate, it's installed beside / between the license plate lights.

in that case, that should be okay.

but i'm referring to cameras directly installed onto license plates using license plate bolts.

Boss sa araneta ave malapit sa sm centerpoint. Avt ang brand niya pero pede din ibang brand kasi jack lang naman ang ikakabit sa likod ng avt head unit natin.
