May 5th, 2008 11:57 AM #1question lang po mga bossing! kasi ung power locks ko parang nagloloko na yata, pag auto lock ko e ayaw po, pero pag auto open naman e nagbubukas po. although 1 afternoon lng nangyari iyon (kasi ok na ulit) tanong ko sana kung may problema na kaya ung power locks ko?

May 5th, 2008 12:09 PM #3sir 1D4LV, stupid question lang po (baguhan lang) alin po nilulubricate yung mismong lock? kc sa naexperience ko, yung powerlock na nasa drivers door side un pinpindot ko, pag nakalock na oopen pero hindi ko mai lock ulit, den pag yung sa alarm naman (yung remote) pag pinindot ko yung alarm dapat mag lock sya pero hindi e... salamats!

this happened to me. culprit is a loose clamp.

bro try mo check yung fuse ng alarm mo unlock - lock mo, kasi may fuse din yan.sir tanung lang po anu po ba alarm po niyo, OEM ba yung alarm niyo po o binili sa labas?
kasi yung sa akin autopage rf315 yung fuse ang salarin ganyan na ganyan nangyari sa tsikot ko..baka makatulong lang!

May 5th, 2008 01:21 PM #6maybe you have a problem in your actuator. i think a replacement one costs around 250 petot. the OEM ones cost around a couple of thousands. so i suggest you go for the replacement. serves the same purpose.

May 5th, 2008 05:34 PM #7actuators can still be fixed. you just need to know where to have them done. replacements are cheap but per my experience, they don't last that long.

just lubricate all moving parts by spraying them with silicon spray. Move it every now and then so the lubricant can penetrate the unreachable parts.
after then see if it works. If it does not, then you may need to replace your actuator.
start with simple solutions first para di mapamahal...

* sir EGcoolmhan, OEM (sa tingin ko OEM is ung Original Enhancements ng Car?... from Car company po?) po sya, TVS ba un (toyota vehicle security), kaso hindi p ako murunong tumingin ng fuse (he he... ogag!)
* sir dok_nukem, mukhang mapapamahal ako pag nag change ng actuator (OEM kasi)
pasensya n mga bossing, ngayon lang ako nagkasasakyan ng may ganito... pero salamat sa inputs!
